Thank you for your interest in becoming an Olgam Life donor! You are welcome to stop by at any time, no appointment necessary.
Just be sure to bring:
1. Your current, unexpired ID 2. Proof of address within 50 miles of a center (a piece of mail or a bill with your full name and address will do) 3. Your social security card or a tax document with your full name and SSN displayed
The center will help you complete a health questionnaire and conduct a quick physical to determine your eligibility. After each successful donation, you will be paid between $50-$60 in NYC and between $50-$140 in Florida.
Olgam Life Plasma Donation Center Flatbush Brooklyn is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing the highest quality donor plasma. Our team of highly trained professionals works diligently to ensure that our donors are provided with the utmost care, safety, and respect during their time at our center, you will also be paid for your plasma donation. We use the latest technology and techniques combined with strict adherence to guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in order to provide you with an experience that meets & exceeds industry standards.
Our plasma donation process uses the highest safety standards in a sterile environment and a cutting edge automated system for faster donation times. Our staff receives ongoing training to help ensure the most pleasant experience possible for our donors.

When you arrive
You’ll be greeted by a receptionist who will review your documentation. If it’s your first visit you’ll be given a brief physical. You’ll be asked to fill out a Donor History Questionnaire, and a center technician will take a small blood sample from your finger to check your protein and hematocrit levels.

Your donation
If you’re eligible to donate, you will be taken to the donation area and seated in a comfortable reclining chair/bed, blood will be drawn, plasma will be separated from your blood, and red blood cells will be returned to your body through a process called plasmapheresis. Fear not, the process strictly follows FDA guidelines and is totally safe.

You're all set!
And you’re done! The whole process for a first-time donation is less than two hours, and subsequent visits are around 90 minutes with a VIP Donor Program for any Returning Donors. Your Olgam Life paycard will quickly reflect the added payment amount for your donation. Be sure that you drink plenty of fluids, eat a healthy meal and refrain from strenuous activities for the remainder of the day.

What to Expect at our Brownsville Center in Brooklyn
We’re a plasma donation center in Brownsville, in the heart of Brooklyn. Find us on Pitkin Avenue opposite Distinction Taz, the tattoo shop, and Juicy King Crab Express. We’re open and ready to greet you from 8 am until 2 pm daily, apart from Friday and Saturday.
