Just be sure to bring:
1. Your current, unexpired ID 2. Proof of address within 50 miles of a center (a piece of mail or a bill with your full name and address will do) 3. Your social security card or a tax document with your full name and SSN displayed
The center will help you complete a health questionnaire and conduct a quick physical to determine your eligibility. After each successful donation, you will be paid between $50-$60 in NYC and between $50-$140 in Florida.
Olgam Life Plasma Donation Center Brooklyn New York is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing the highest quality donor plasma. Our plasma donation process uses the highest safety standards in a sterile environment and a cutting edge automated system for faster donation times. Our staff receives ongoing training to help ensure the most pleasant experience possible for our donors.

When you arrive
You’ll be greeted by a receptionist who will review your documentation. If it’s your first visit you’ll be given a brief physical. You’ll be asked to fill out a Donor History Questionnaire, and a center technician will take a small blood sample from your finger to check your protein and hematocrit levels.

Your donation
If you’re eligible to donate, you will be taken to the donation area and seated in a comfortable reclining chair/bed, blood will be drawn, plasma will be separated from your blood, and red blood cells will be returned to your body through a process called plasmapheresis. Fear not, the process strictly follows FDA guidelines and is totally safe.

You're all set!
And you’re done! The whole process for a first-time donation is less than two hours, and subsequent visits are around 90 minutes with a VIP Donor Program for any Returning Donors. Your Olgam Life paycard will quickly reflect the added payment amount for your donation. Be sure that you drink plenty of fluids, eat a healthy meal and refrain from strenuous activities for the remainder of the day.

What to Expect at Our Brooklyn Branch in New York
Find us at 1104 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, 11238, opposite Shop Fair of Bed-Stuy and near Franklin Avenue Station. Your first visit to our donation center will take roughly two hours and 1.5 hours for each subsequent visit.
Upon arriving for your first visit, we will complete a medical screening. This is to check that it’s safe for us to collect plasma from you. We’ll also complete some checks to ensure you’re healthy enough to donate, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
You’ll be taken to the donor floor, where a team member will perform a venipuncture and set you up with one of our donation machines. Your whole blood will be taken, and the plasma will be separated out. Your blood cells will then be reintroduced to your body in a sterile saline solution to help your body produce replacement plasma.
Upon completing our plasma collection, we will give you a debit card with funds loaded onto it which can be used immediately. Keep this card for the next time you visit; we’ll top it up.
